I’m very glad that you enjoyed the article Joseph and I can certainly see where you’re coming from. I think perhaps that this clarification might make my position and hopes clearer.

“The good news is that there have been significant improvements made in blockchain technology that addresses all of these enough to make them technically ready for the mainstream (but not in Bitcoin).”

Perhaps I should have been a bit clearer here: I think that now, at a technical level, blockchain can be adopted by the mainstream. I do not think that the formats currently being offered solve the more ethical, social or political issues outlined in my articles. I think the technology is there and now these deeper issues can be tackled properly.

To make this a bit clearer, I see ways for the EOSIO software to adapt to creating new social, political and economic models powered by blockchain. The following article may give some insight as to why I believe this has the power and flexibility to do so.
