I am very glad that I went through all the comments of this post as well to get a better feel for some other people that have opinions on this.
I find THIS comment very relevant and practical about how this would really work. I was going to ask these questions but @grosshans.rose has asked them for me!
Regarding question 1, if this was to be set up for a government I certainly see the need for there to be adequate remuneration for people that are sufficiently involved in the decision-making and policy review process. In a liquid democracy as proposed in this blog, their level of involvement is measured by the chained weight of the delegations allocated to the person. I could indeed imagine that a salary is based off (there is a salary based on delegate votes) this but I can also easily see this dissolving into vote buying or other corrupting scheme as suggested by @lucarade. So I thought maybe salary based on delegate weight with a minimum vote threshold and maximum salary. Anyways, keen to hear what you think on this in general, my idea and on the other two questions :)
@DomSchiener do you have an answer?
