As far as I know, the only key technical difference with SV is the block size. This addresses the following technical problem from issue #8 in my article, all other problems still exist for Bitcoin SV:
- "has high transaction fees, which would be even higher if it were to be more adopted"
To be clear, it still:
- has all problems #1 - 7
- cannot scale well enough to be used as a global currency (better than Bitcoin though)
- consumes a huge amount of energy (less than Bitcoin though but more than many other crytocurrencies)
- is extremely slow at processing transactions (10 minutes, same as Bitcoin)
- has account names in the form of cryptographic keys which are difficult to understand
expect users to be solely responsible for their account management, making the loss of funds and key management difficult
- has large price volatility making it too unpredictable to be used as a currency
